Here's an updated "release candidate" tarball for the C library, now at
v0.1-RC2.
http://www.leonerd.org.uk/code/libtickit/libtickit-0.1-RC2+bzr486.tar.gz
(I decided not to attach it because it's now bigger than the size limit
allowed on the mailing list. Oops :) )
As well as passing all its own tests and all the tests in the
"WINDOW_XS" branch of the Tickit perl distribution, this one now also
passes all the tests of every Tickit-Widget-* distribution (or, at
least, the set of development ones I have on my laptop, which is
Tickit-Widgets
Tickit-Widget-Menu
Tickit-Widget-ScrollBox
Tickit-Widget-Scroller
Tickit-Widget-Tabbed
Tickit-Widget-Choice
also
Tickit-Widget-Layout-Relative-0.005 by TEAM
Tickit-Widget-Table-Paged-0.004 by TEAM
Along with this tarball, I'll also be making an RC release of the
Tickit perl distribution, using the C library for windows instead.
There may require some small version bumps of bad tests in other widget
distributions to make the tests not fail, but other than that, I think
we're lining up nicely for a real v0.1 release and a complete "wrapper"
Perl module that no longer contains any "native" implementation.
Once the dust is settled on these, it'll finally be time to move on to
the v0.2 milestone, which so far suggests:
* Persistent storage-backed windows are possible.
* Full event model through windows, including focus management.
If anyone else wants to suggest bugs/features/blueprints to target for
v0.2, the full lists are
